The Tanzania Library and Information Association (TLA), in collaboration with the Tanzania Library Services Board (TLSB), invites academics, researchers, information professionals and practitioners to submit original abstracts for the 2027 TLA Annual Conference.

Sub-themes
Abstracts may be submitted under any of the following tracks:
- Emerging Technologies and Library Innovation
- Digital Transformation and Smart Libraries
- Information Literacy and Knowledge Management
- Open Science and Scholarly Communication
- Inclusion and Information Accessibility
- Cultural Heritage Preservation
- Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning
- Green Libraries and Sustainable Development
- Library Leadership, Advocacy, and Workforce Development
- Evidence-Based Library Practice
Submission guidelines
- Language: all abstracts must be written in English.
- Length: abstracts should not exceed 250 words.
- Author information: state the title of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), institutional affiliation and contact details.
- Structure: abstracts must include the background, objectives, methodology, results, conclusion and implications.
- Format and submission: prepare the abstract in MS Word format and submit it electronically to ccwt.tla@gmail.com.
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, and authors will be notified about acceptance in due course. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the official TLA Conference Proceedings.
