Members of the association comprise of:

* Librarians
* Bibliographers
* Documentalists
* Archivists
* Information officers
* Other persons related to the administration of libraries and information units
* Interested in the objectives of the Association
* Libraries
* Corporate bodies
* Societies and other organizations interested in library and information services

Membership fees applicable:

* Institutions: TSh. 150,000 annually. Online Institution registration
* Individuals: TSh. 30,000 annually. Online Individual registration
